2015 AGM 1st JULY 7:30pm @ TWO BIRDS

You are invited to attend:
Annual General Meeting of the Spotswood Cricket Club Inc.
Two Birds Brewery, Hall street , Spotswood
Wednesday 1 July, 2015
Commencing 7.30 pm

We appeal to all members to make this season’s AGM a priority.

There are many ways, both large and small, in which each member can help with the massive task of running a large club such as ours. Please give some serious thought to taking a place on the Committee to help meet these challenges.

If you know of anyone interested in playing in any grade we encourage you to promote our club. Please contact one of the Committee members so they can make contact or just bring them along to preseason training.

Expressions of interest for Captains of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th vets & Ladies XIs are now invited.

We certainly looking forward to seeing you all at the Annual General Meeting.
A light supper and liquid refreshments will be available at the conclusion of the meeting.

2 New signings for season 2015-16

SCC would like to welcome to the club Gene Maurice. Gene was previously playing at Bulleen Cricket Club in the ECA and prior to that he spent 7-years playing in the First XI for Premier Cricket side North Melbourne.

We would also like to welcome Sam Dishon. Sam has been living in London for the last 10-years and has been playing at Shepherds Bush Cricket Club. He has recently returned to Melbourne and thankfully looking to take up roots nearby.

With Gene and Sam being best mates, it was great timing to get them both on board. We look forward to the on-field rivalry.

New Coach for season 2015-16

It is with great pleasure that we can announce Mark Butler as Senior Coach for the upcoming 2015-16 season. Mark is a life member of the club, Team of the Century player, Premiership Captain and has held multiple roles around the club. He will no doubt bring a new dimension to the senior teams not just at training but also on game day and working with individuals to get the most out of them.
