Screen Shot 2018-10-26 at 7.24.44 amCANCELLED – sadly, we have had to cancel this event due to lack of ticket sales and a high risk that the event would result in a financial loss to the club. If you’d already bought a ticket, we will work with you to arrange a refund.

We are looking to run an alternative event in late November / early December instead. Stay tuned for more details and please consider getting involved to help

Thanks to all who bought tickets, or who helped with planning or promotion for the event.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

You won’t want to miss seeing our clubrooms transformed into a spring racing carnival paradise for our big Melbourne Cup Eve event! We’ve seen what our event designer has done in the past and the kinds of ideas she’s playing with for this event, and believe us, it’s going to be spectacular.

This is an event for players, members, partners and friends, but tickets are strictly limited to 100, so get in now to buy your tickets.

It will be night unlike any the club has seen in recent years, with fashions on the field (ladies and men’s), Calcutta, phantom race call, on-site bookie, DJ and two course meal, with your first drink included in the ticket price of $55. Dress code is formal – the kind of thing you’d wear if you were heading to the race course in person for a big race day.

Coterie members – please note that this event is included in your membership, but you do need to book a place.

What to wear? Here’s some race day style tips for the gents – suits, collared shirts and jackets are the order of the day. And ladies please go all out – hats, fascinators, whatever you like! If you want some inspiration, here’s a guide to the latest trends this spring carnival.

And remember, being a Melbourne Cup event, the brighter the better for both men and women.

Get your ticket now, and we’ll see you there!
