Spotswood Cricket Club has a proud history of fielding women’s team in local competitions since 1978/79.
Entering our 97th year as a club we have again entered a women’s side after a 7 year absence.
We’ll be competing in the NWMCA Women’s Sunday T20 Competition with Coach Sandeep (Sonny) Mandalika taking charge.
Training is Wednesday’s 6:30 to 7:30 as Donald McLean Reserve.
Previously our women’s side played for 40 years. Our move to Sub District cricket 5 years ago has given junior players an opportunity to progress into our cricket Victoria pathway, the Craig shield and then an opportunity to play Sub District cricket on one of the best playing surfaces with the best facitilites, practise area and social rooms in the western suburbs. Our club mantra is to give everyone the opportunity to play a high level of cricket and help them to progress to cricket beyond our club.
Why join? All skill levels welcome – from first-timers to seasoned players. Local Sunday T20 matches Supportive team culture & strong community spirit.
